Wouter Eraly

Dr Eraly graduated as a specialist in physical medicine and rehabilitation in 2017 (UZ Leuven), a course he combined with a master after master in sports medicine (Faber KU Leuven 2016). He also completed an additional 2-year course of manual medicine in 2017.  

Electromyography (EMG) allows nerve injuries to be objectified at the consultation. He completed multiple training courses in musculoskeletal ultrasound, which allows ultrasound-guided infiltrations of superficial structures.  

Furthermore, he is an accredited sports examiner. You can therefore come to him with sports injuries or for a sports medical examination. He is a member of Gezond Sporten Vlaanderen and the Vereniging van Sport- en Keuringsartsen (SKA). He regularly attends refresher courses and keeps abreast of innovations in the field of sports medicine.

On a personal level, he still often practices sports himself, mainly cycling (Race/MTB) and also participated in several sports events such as triathlon, cross-country running and tennis.
